Well AFL Footy Fanatics it's here the Finals "Hooray"we've waited 22 rounds for this and my beloved Carlton Blues are there and playing in Sydney against the Sydney Swans today Sunday [father's day] at ANZ Stadium the official Olympic venue for the 2000 games.
The game starts today at 2.40pm with the winner playing next week at the MCG against the Western Bulldogs.
Carlton has not won in Sydney since 1993 however,all games except one was played at the SCG.
of the current Blues squad only one has played at ANZ whilst playing with his ex club.
As an avid Carlton fanatic I really feel quietly confident that our young side can win today.[fingers crossed]
I will be having a quick lunch today [being a great father that Iam I will be taken out]and then will return
and glue myself to the TV and watch the Mighty Blues win.
Well,I will return later to report on the game and hopefully our first win in a Final since 2001.
